My Stamp Holder TODAY!

My husband mounted my new stamp holder on the wall and I organized my $1 wood mounted stamps last night (from J's, Big Lots, and Michael's mostly).  Here is what it looks like now:

Thanks honey for helping me get this situated in my space!

Other Garage Sale Finds!

I found a few other things for my scraproom the last 2 weekends at garage sales!

The first item was a Pampered Chef Carousel for $3.

The second item was this storage container/holder for $1.

The last item was just a lazy susan to put my adhesive bag on which will allow easy access to all it's sides (and my gem container underneath with my xyron sticker maker).

What have you found lately?

Another Repurpose Idea.....

Anyone that knows me knows I love going to Garage Sales (that's what they call them usually in Vermont).  I love to scout out things for my craft room along with items for my girls.  Last Saturday I found this really cool 'Sewing Basket' (that's what it was labeled on the tag) for $2.00.

Anyway, I bought it without any thought of what I would put inside.  After looking around my craft area, I decided it was the perfect place for some of my glitters and chalks (I'm fairly new at the whole glitter and chalking world as you can see from the photo?!).  Here is what it looks like now that it is filled.....

What have you repurposed in your craft space?

Another Storage Idea -- EUREKA moment!

About a month ago I was shopping with my good friend at Kmart and came across some $3.00 snapware ornament containers.  Without hesitation, I loaded one of these nifty containers into my cart without any thoughts on what to do with it.  I initially thought I might use it to store scrapbook paper (it's slightly larger than 12x12).  Today I had a EUREKA moment!  I decided to put all my glitters, stickles, stamp pads, chalks, etc into this one container -- MY SNAPWARE BOX!  I don't know if I'll keep this system but I do like that everything is in one central location.  Does anyone else have items they have used in a different way in their scrap zone?

My Cricut is so pretty!

Okay..... before I finish for the night I had to share my pretty Cricut dust cover I purchased off of Ebay!  I love everything Country --- so my cover fits in perfectly!  I now want to cover my chairs in the room in matching fabric!

My Scrap-Craft Area

We recently finished off our basement!  Yeahhhh!!  This means I now have my own dedicated craft space!  I will tell you that it's not the prettiest space but it's more than I could ever want!  It's my slice of heaven!

Above:  This is my work station.  We purchased the cabinets for $100 off of Craigslist!  My Cricut cartridges sit on a shelf my Brother-In-Law made me a few years ago!

Above:  This is where I keep some of my scrapbooks!  On the bottom shelf are boxes with miscellaneous scrapbook stuff (adhesive ribbons, embellishments, etc).  To the right is an old milk box that I use to hold a bunch of yarn for other crafts.

Above:  This is my ribbon station.  I keep some of my spool ribbon here for easy access!  My kids enjoy having it open and easy to get to for crafting!  The crafting scissors they love, too!  The tote on the right holds a bunch of my miscellaneous items.

Above:  This is an old kitchen island that we used at our old house.  In the middle area it holds stickers/embellishments in the right clear box, chipboard and modge podge in the middle box, and 8x11 paper on the right box.  The bottom is storage for photos, mini-sewing machine, and many other items!

Above:  This is my scrapbook paper storage.  It's an old Yaffa Block shelf.  It's the perfect width and depth to hold my scrapbook paper storage boxes from Michael's.  I have them separated by categories.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll show more of my scrap area at another time!
